While driving through the French country side on our way from Dijon, France, to Stuttgart, Germany, we stopped in the town of Gray. Let’s just say its name suites it as it is, well...Gray. This dusty, sleepy little town didn’t have much to offer other than what felt like a step back in time.
Although there were little signs of life, Gray also felt very real, rough and even a bit raw.
We enjoyed the opportunity to snap some photographs in a place that felt as though life had passed it by for the past fifty years.
Our next stop was the town of Vesoul, and it too was very similiar.
Know Before You Go!
Parking is very easy in small towns like this. We were able to park for free by following some well-marked signs as we came into town.
